Ijdabra  Cross Project

...and I, when I am lifted from the earth.., (John 12-13)

Ijdabra Cross Information and Donation

The church of Mar Saba, Ijdabra owns a 50,000 meter square land that it wishes to bring to life through the launching of a spiritual, developmental, educational, social, touristic and environmental project which will reflect the needs of the community.

The project will be divided into 3 areas :

  • The first area will be dedicated to prayer and religious tourism. This area will contain The World's Largest Cross.
  • The second area will be dedicated to youth camps so the youth could be aware of the importance of dialogue, peace and the love of nature. A permanent center will be built for that purpose.
  • The third area includes the forest and will be dedicated to rest, relaxation and walkabouts.

The purpose of the project is to create a space for families where they can meet and enjoy the beauty of the Lebanese nature while visiting the World's Largest Cross.

Note that this project is dedicated for less fortunate families, and to everyone wanting to spend the holidays through participating in sport activities, recreational and environment-friendly events.
